Mid Century Expandable Milo Baughman Dining Table for Directional

An exceptional Milo Baughman Parsons dining table circa 1960’s, by Directional Furniture. This extraordinary table features a striped veneer top of gleaming rosewood, teak and walnut with smooth clean lines characteristic of classic Danish design. This remarkable dining table comes with two extension leaves to accommodate extra seating, transforming seating capacity from four, six or ten. With two leaves inserted, this table expands to 100_ (8.33 ft. feet) long! Well-crafted over a black lacquer base. The top is composed of a centered walnut veneer bookended with teak stripes and thin stripes of walnut run adjacent to a rosewood banding. An expandable steel rail system by Watertown is found beneath the top and allows for two, 20” leaves. The drop in leaves are book-matched and blend seamlessly with the table when in place creating a stunning contemporary look.
